The FC Alliance 98b Black1 Team’s trip to Hendersonville was well worth the effort.  Years of development and many recent months of practice came to a culminating point.  The Team posted wins over Tennessee Rush 98 Nike (2 - 0) and FC Alliance 98b Black2 (5 - 1) to qualify for the finals.  The match up of the top eastern and western seeds resulted in a decisive 5 - 0 victory over the Brentwood 98 Premier team for the FC Alliance 98b Black1 Team’s first state championship.   The Team generated a powerul offense and stingy defense that allowed only a single goal in the Division 2 state tournament.  The FC Alliance 98b Black2 Team finished tied for fourth in the state.  Both Teams were coached by Allen Fincher.
