Dear Colleen,
Well the Turkey is done and the Christmas carols are already being piped full blast at every store you enter! That doesn't mean that soccer is over!
Division I,II and III Boys State League Soccer was a success for our teams!
We have champions, finalists and semi finalists. Our club was well represented. We had the most teams compete in states from East Tennessee. Our Teams placed best over all in the clubs from East Tennessee. We also look to next fall season when we will have several teams competing in Regional Premier League.
We are proud of all of our teams! For all the Boys and Families that spent Fall season with us THANKS!
We now have the Girls State and Regional League beginning Spring season. We look forward to another great season! Welcome back to all those families that have been playing high school.

Futsal Update
For those of you signed up for Futsal we are keeping a close watch on the construction of the Johnny Long Training Facility. We are on schedule as of yesterday 11/29/09. We are not concerned about the construction. Due to the fact we will have first rights to any field space or time we will have flexibility with the schedule. If it does become necessary to push back the opening due to weather slowing construction, we will make up games.
The construction does not involve pouring concrete for the flooring. Pea gravel is used as a base for the flooring. This will be more forgiving to athletes knees....and also construction time.We expect to get at least one league futsal game in prior to Christmas. We will continue to keep you posted as to the progress of our new home and Futsal!

All scrip orders are due by December 1st (tomorrow). I will be at Alliance Park December 1st at 7 pm to pick up orders.

This will be the last order before Christmas! Orders will be back on or about December 17th. The shipping time is longer due to the high number of orders placed this time of year.

Dear Colleen,
It’s hard to believe the season has come to a close after this week! We have seen so many positive changes to our club over just this season alone. We have added nets to Academy Park, acquired management of the U.S. Cellular fields, and added another D1 state championship win for our u18 boys!
We are so glad that you were with us for this Fall 2009 season. We look forward to seeing you in our new facility at the Johnny Long Training Academy for Futsal. This will be the only facility in Knoxville to offer true Futsal! Our new home will have many needed amenities for our club including office space and the ability to review films.
Our pre academy program was a hit. Our academy program continues to get stronger with more direction and input concerning curriculum development at age appropriate levels. We look forward to more structured skills training in the spring for all age groups.
As our club grows we will continue to have challenges. We are working on increasing our number of lighted fields to decrease on field wear and tear and also to alleviate parking issues. We will be putting black top in the upper parking lot at Academy Park to cut down on the bottoming out of cars entering the parking lot. These issues are signs that we are headed in the right direction.
On a final note we will be having an AGM for all to attend concerning our club sometime in the next two months. We will keep you posted.
Thanks again for being a part of FC Alliance!

Safety!!!!
We are aware of parking being difficult at Academy Park as lighted fields became a premium late in the season. We can not stress enough...DO NOT DROP OFF OR PICK UP CHILDREN ON THE STREET!.....DO NOT PARK ALONG THE ROAD AT ACADEMY OR ALLIANCE FIELDS! Please drop children off in the parking lot! There will be an accident. Cars travel at high rates of speed along the road in front of Academy Park. It is not safe to stop in the middle of the road to let your child in or out of the car.
Please be considerate of the number of people trying to park at academy and alliance and park so that as many vehicles can fit as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Looking for Sponsors
As mentioned in the previous article we are looking to light more fields. To do so we are looking for sponsors for our project. Donations do not need to be cash. We have several needs to make this project a reality. Anyone with information or the desire to help should contact Mike Holt. Click here to contact Mike. We are very fortunate to have as many sponsors as we do.
Please use these businesses as often as we can. See our sponsor page on our website for a complete list.
