Ben Munger

Ben Munger joins the FC Alliance staff while also serving as an assistant coach at Tennessee Wesleyan College.  A former player at Maryville College- he was a four year starting goalkeeper there- he started for a team that was ranked as high as 14th nationally. During his time as goalkeeper, Munger was ranked by the NCAA in Goals Against Average (26th) and Save Percentage (3rd), making him a nationally recognized player.  In 2011, he was named to the Great South Atlantic Conference All-Freshman team.  Coach Munger's sophomore, junior, and senior years he was named to the USA South Academic All-Conference team.  In 2015, he was named the USA South Goalkeeper of the Year. 

After his playing career ended, Coach Munger jumped right into coaching.  He has been with FC Alliance for two years as a goalkeeper coach and he served as the goalkeeper coach for both of Maryville High School's soccer teamss, including the 2015 girls season when the girls accumulated 11 shutouts in their 17-1-2 season.
