Former Tennessee Volunteer Jayden Barrett begins her second season coaching for FC Alliance as one of the club's best trainers. Formerly a coach with another local club, Barrett has become a highly valued addition to the FC Alliance staff. Although she has quickly earned a reputation as an outstanding coach, it is hard not to take note of her tremendous playing background.
Barrett was one of Tennessee's most dangerous and electrifying strikers. She started multiple games as a true freshman in 2009, scoring goals against Georgia, Wisconsin and Arizona State. She was credited with the game-winning assist against Mississippi State.
Prior to Tennessee, Barrett was a member of the US Women's U15 National Pool. Adidas Elite Soccer Program named her one of the Top 25 high school players in the country, as twice she was named Most Valuable Player of the California State Cup for Mater Dei High School. During that time, Barrett traveled to England multiple times to train with the Arsenal and Chelsea women's programs.
In club soccer, Barrett won a regional championship and was a national finalist playing for Slammers FC in southern California. She was highly recruited and listed her finalists as Texas, Tennessee, California and Santa Clara.
