Most people know Regal Soccer Stadium as the home of the Lady Vols women's soccer team. Graciously, the University of Tennessee at Knoxville has opened up the gorgeous facility for a new kid in town: the semi-professional team Knoxville Force. Coached by Derek Broadley, the roster has a mix of players with local ties and brand new names to the Knoxville community. Many of the local names have ties to FC Alliance coaches. Included in that list is former Radford star Camden Brown, former UAB star Derek Radcliffe, Ben Backstrom, and Ryan Stinton. FC Alliance encourages all families to support this local soccer endeavor. Any level of play beyond college in the local area signifies the growth of this amazing sport. It is the club's hope that strong attendance by the youth of the community will continue to spur this growth. The first game is this upcoming Saturday night against Rocket City United of Alabama.
