ESPN/Gatorade Player of the Year
FC Alliance's Tim Baker recognized as state's top player

ESPN and Gatorade have officially recognized Tim Baker as the top high school soccer player in the state of Tennessee.  Baker, who plays for Catholic High School, is a member of the 94 Boys Black.  The award is based on high school performance, where the explosive midfielder dominated.  He scored 65 goals and dished out 49 assists in his career at Catholic .  For the 2012 season, he scored 29 goals in 20 games.

Baker has a long history of playing for FC Alliance coaches, as his entire competitive soccer career has been with the organization and it's roots.  The 94 Boys Black has won six state championships, and he's been a significant contributor in every one of them. 

The graduating senior has signed with Lee University.
