Most schools have let out for the summer and nearly all teams are on summer break, but many serious soccer players are not ready to shut down soccer. Especially for two months. The summer months are great for down time, but they are also a great opportunity for players to improve their game.
FC Alliance offers two great options for players wanting to continue to grow their game without overcommitting their summer: summer camps and summer league.
Summer camps focusing on individual player development are offered June 11-15, June 18-22 and June 25-29. They run in the mornings, but also offer an "all-day" extension that features other sports. Some of the clubs most successful coaches will be coaching the camps: Steven Townley, Jayden Barrett, Fernando Lopez, Johnny Bracewell, and others. There is also an evening camp run by new ETSU assistant coach Josh Scott. The College Camp Series is in the evenings of June 25-28. Coach Scott will create a college-style environment, which is a unique opportunity for players with big soccer aspirations. For more information, go here: http://fcallianceknox.org/--summer-camps
Summer League is almost a "no-brainer" for competitive soccer players. It is priced cheap, but features two days of soccer per week (training on Tuesday evenings and games on Saturdays). Many of the club's best alumns grew up playing summer league. Players can attend when they are available. For more information, go here: Summer League: Where Champions are Made
