Overview of FC Alliance Specialty Training Programs

FALL 2011 SEASON

 

FC Alliance’s Competitive Soccer Program begins August 1 and ends November 30. Throughout the season, FC Alliance offers a variety of speciality training programs to enhance a players skill set and improve overall performance. SKILLS TRAINING

The success of our players depends on much more than how well they can kick the ball. The fate of the game rests on strategy, teamwork, and decision-making. FC Alliance offers a complete foot skills training program based primarily on Coerver and Brazilian skills. Players focus on moves, first touch, quickness of feet, balance, and total ball control. This is the area’s only proven program for players aspiring to use footskills to elevate their game to another level, with a curriculum designed over nearly twelve years. Current FC Alliance 94 Boys Black (three time state champion, RPL3C champions) spent over five years using the curriculum. Each session lasts 60 minutes.

 



GOALKEEPER TRAINING


The Goalkeeper Training program helps players to learn and fine-tune all the techniques and skills required to become a great goalkeeper! Training covers the basic fundamentals and skills of goalkeeping, including footwork, handling, diving, shot-stopping, breakaways, crosses, distribution, and making game winning saves!

PERSONAL TRAINING
 

For players interested in taking their game to the next level, FC Alliance offers a variety of individual & group training sessions. FC Alliance training focuses on the individual needs of each player.  All of our trainers are seasoned professionals and will challenge players to meet their goals. JOHNNY LONG’S TRAINING ACADEMY: CHAMPIONSHIP PERFORMANCE SERIES (CPS) TRAINING
(formerly known as SAQ)

Championship Performance Series (CPS) Training is a year round training program that FC Alliance offers through our partnership with Johnny Long Training Academy (JLTA). Training is delivered by Johnny Long’s athletic performance coaches that specialize in making an athlete faster, stronger, more explosive, agile in an effort to help reduce injuries. CPS training provides not only speed, agility, and quickness, but includes plyometrics, weights, nutrition, mental toughness, competitive drills and vision training. JLTA offers three different age specific programs. The cost to participate in these sessions is included in FC Alliance Club fees.
