Kama Roberts

Kama Roberts brings an impressive playing background to FC Alliance.  In 1994, Coach Roberts was an All-American soccer player at Lees-McRae College.  She was 1st team All-South and 1st team All-American, as well as being named an Academic All-American.  Coach Roberts put her name in the school record books with six match-winning goals in a single season.

Growing up in Tampa, Florida, Coach Roberts played on a boys team as a younger player until she joined Blackwatch Soccer Club in middle school.  At Blackwatch, her team won six state championships, two regional titles, qualified for two national finals, and won the Division 1 national championship at U16.  During this time, Roberts represented the state of Florida at state, regional and national Olympic Development Program events.

As a high school senior, Coach Roberts received a scholarship to play soccer at Barry University in Miami, although she eventually ended up at Lees-McRae.

Her daughter currently plays for the FC Alliance 00/99 Girls.
