Register for FC Alliance Winter League Here:
FC Alliance is proud to announce that registration is open for our 2019-2020 Winter League! Winter League will be on turf, but we will also offer futsal to all members of the league as an extra option.
Do you play as your own team? Yes, this year we are changing our format. Teams will stay together and play against other teams. Each team will have a coach and their own game shirt.
What if you need a team? Individual players are HIGHLY encouraged to register. We will be creating Winter League teams for players who need teams. Individual players who have friends participating can be placed on the same teams as their friends. We can even accommodate small groups.
Who can play? Any boy or girl, regardless of club or league affiliation, is welcome to play. We will offer leagues from ages 4-18. Players who are 18 must currently be currently enrolled in high school to participate. All ability levels are invited.
What are the dates? Session 1: December 2 - February 1. Session 2: January 4 - February 15. All players ages 10 and younger will also be invited to a scrimmage day on Saturday, February 22.
What days? Practices are during the week and games are on the weekends.
What is included in the fee? The fee is $85 for the season. This includes practices, games, optional futsal, and PACE training (Power, Acceleration, Coordination, and Endurance).
Who are the coaches? Coaches are experienced FC Alliance competitive soccer coaches. Teams not in FC Alliance are welcome to bring their own coach.
So after I register, what happens? The league will contact you to confirm your participation dates. If you already have a team, the coach will "claim" you off the league roster. If you are joining the league without a team, the league directors will place you on a team. When the league gets closer to the start date, the league will send you practice days, your team's roster, and the name of your coach.
What about the futsal option? Coaches Fernando Lopez and Dray Knight will be running futsal. They will be announcing the optional futsal dates, times, and locations for all those interested. This is an extra benefit for Winter League participants. If a player wishes only to play futsal and not in the league, please let us know when you are e-mailed to confirm your participation dates.
What is PACE training? PACE training focuses on players growing their athleticism, but specific to soccer. The sessions focus on running faster and stronger, getting quicker, improving balance and coordination, and other areas of athleticism needed to become a better soccer player.
